Reiner Winterschladen already found interest in Jazzmusic at the age of 13. In 1979 he decided to make music his profession. He worked in different fields of music such as rock, funk, jazz and electro. He is known from projects such as Trance Groove and Nighthawks. He collaborated on the production of several filmmusic, worked with Dieter Manderscheid, Radu Mafatti, Achim Krämer, Tony Oxey, Pee Wee Ellis, Ekkehard Jost, Ali Haurand and was a part of the Klaus König Orchestra, of the Theo Jörgensmann Quartett, and of the NuBox Group (Bluebox). Reiner is a master on his instrument like no other. In 1985 he received the culture award of the city of Düsseldorf, Germany, and is a member of the NDR Bigband since 1995.
